Ag machinery dealer spreads its wings in NSW Northern Rivers with addition of new location
Case IH dealership Days Machinery at Casino is preparing to mark a new milestone in the company’s history with expansion into nearby Lismore in the NSW Northern Rivers.
Days Machinery has acquired the New Holland dealership, Agrihaus Lismore, and from yesterday, December 5, the growing business will represent both CNH Industrial brands, Case IH and New Holland, with both the Casino and Lismore branches to sell both red and blue agriculture and construction machinery.
Days Machinery dealer principal Dan Hoppe said the move meant the addition of a host of complementary product lines that better supported their customers in the Northern Rivers.
“Each of the Case IH and New Holland ag and construction lines have benefits to different segments of our market and we plan on leveraging the strengths of each of the brands to be able to provide a more comprehensive product line-up,” Dan said.
“This expansion also gives us a bigger critical mass to be able to boost our service and support for both blue and red customers, boost our parts, and streamline our logistics which you can do when you’ve got a bit more volume behind you.”
Days Machinery at Casino was purchased by the Hoppe family in early 2019, Dan saying at the time they were looking forward to the challenge of an agricultural machinery business, having a farming background but also extensive experience in the construction and mining sectors with equipment distribution. Almost four years later, Dan said the time felt right to expand the business and tackle a new challenge.
“With the support of CNH Industrial the transition into the new Lismore business will be seamless and our team feel comfortable about what we’re taking on and excited to support a wider range of customer bases with a wider range of products,” Dan said.
General Manager for Case IH Australia/New Zealand, Pete McCann, congratulated Dan and his team on the move and said it was good news for customers in the region.
“Days Machinery has continued its reputation for outstanding customer service and support since Dan took over the business, expanding the footprint for Case IH in this region and cementing existing and new customer relationships so the inclusion of Lismore in this network promises big things into the future,” Pete said.
Bruce Healy, General Manager for New Holland Agriculture, said it was an exciting new chapter for existing Agrihaus Lismore customers.
“They can be assured their machinery requirements and service needs will be top priority for this new look team and that Days Machinery is the right fit when it comes to representing New Holland,” he said.
